Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong front-end programming skills, that will become a valuable contributor to the "Application Experience" team. We are building a cloud-native solution that provides instant insight into people’s digital working experience via out-of-the-box dashboards and investigations. The platform enables quick and proactive troubleshooting of potential issues while optimizing usage and user sentiment of desktop, web, and hybrid applications. The candidate should be heavily motivated by the product and experienced in software development and testing.

Your contribution will significantly impact the satisfaction of hundreds of our happy customers. As a Software Engineer at Nexthink, your duty is to ensure that the software we deliver fulfills the product requirements by collaborating with our product experts. You will participate in all stages of software development: design, implementation, validation, and maintenance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Implement new user-facing, compelling and usable UIs; contribute to their design; and engineer them with ReactJS / Typescript
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Maintain the highest code quality standards by following the team best practices in development
Put in place the necessary front-end test automation to achieve excellent software quality
Document the solutions according to our standards
Provide maintenance and support for our web applications
Interact with our Application Experience Designer (UI/UX) and PM to achieve the expected outcome from each feature
Work with agile iterative/incremental mindset and best practices, and participate actively in the different ceremonials

Collaborate with other front-end engineers across the organization

Votre profil

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Software Engineering with proven front-end expertise
Very strong technical background, with a clear focus on web technologies
Experience with ReactJS/Typescript
Experience in component-based UI development
Fluent in HTML/CSS/JS, with experience in responsive layouts
Strong motivation for complex challenges and learning new technologies
Experience in an agile environment is a must
Teamwork and collaboration are part of your DNA

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Bonus qualifications:

Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Node.js, Python
Experience with accessibility
Programming skills with Java (11+)
Experience with cloud-native development (Linux, Dockers, AWS, Kubernetes)
Fluency in French (spoken and written).
