Description

You’ll join our team of talented engineers and developers that share a common curiosity about distributed backend systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will build the backend systems that power our server-side components, scale highly distributed systems, and continuously improve our engineering practices. 

As an experienced Backend developer, you will be part of the team in charge of building Ad Insertion Platform's core products and technology. 

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance 

• Write clean, secure and reusable code according to best programming practices 

• Keep performance and efficiency as key drivers 

• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing components 

• Gather and address technical and design requirements 

• Provide training and support to internal teams as needed 

• Liaise with Product Owner and other team members to identify new features 

• Stay up-to-speed with emerging technologies 

Votre profil

Requirements 

Must: 

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent experience 

• 3+ years of experience in Go development or another enterprise platform (Java, C++/C) 

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), programming techniques and tools 

• Knowledge of one of the major Cloud providers (GCP, AWS, …) 

• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes 

• Familiarity with Linux 

• Swiss or Swiss work permit 

 

Nice to have: 

• Large knowledge and experience in parallel and distributed processing 

• Knowledge of ad tech (VAST, VPAID, VMAP) 

• Knowledge of video technologies (encoding (H264, H265, Mpeg 2/4), streaming (MPEG-DASH, HLS, SCTE standards, etc.)
