The company eSMART was founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Our company develops intelligent control systems for your home or workplace. These systems can be used locally or remotely and show you where, when and how you are consuming energy. Senior Android Developer

Participate to the architecture definition of Android apps and development of new features in eSMART applications.  

 

• Participate to the architecture definition of Android apps and development of new features in eSMART applications ;
• Responsible for testing Android developments in various devices, and or writing automatic tests ;
• Testing reports before releasing the application to clients.

 

Requirements

• You have educational background in computer engineering/sciences
• More than 3 years of experience in Android development in recent Android SDK versions. Specialised training in mobile app development is required ;
• You have good HTTP and TCP/IP knowledge, as well as experience with automated testing and VCS ;
• Experience with Model-view-ViewModel (MVVM) pattern/React Native with Android would be considered as an advantage ;
• Exposure to using Android Studio ;
• Fluent in spoken and written English, and have some good knowledge in French ;
• You are autonomous, versatile, you enjoy working in a team and you have a good ability to create documentation.
